Every week we search for the best new artists for you to hear and update our Eventim Picks New Artists playlist with new tracks. This week we’ve added neo-soul singer Ruti, Hackney-based electro-pop duo 0171 and more. Find out more about these artists, watch their music videos and listen to the Eventim Picks New Artists Spotify playlist below.

South-East Londoner and former BRIT School student, joey maxwell, released his debut EP last year which combines elements of alt-soul and indie and features synths and horns. He released his latest single and first on Polydor Records, Streetlights, earlier this month.

East-Londer Qhairo comes from a large Caribbean family. He mixes hip-hop, R&B and is influenced by the reggae music he grew up listening to. He released his latest EP, 60FOOTNOIR, last week.

Hackney-based duo 0171 are Joe Bedell-Brill and Georgie Hoare. They formed in 2018 and their name comes from the now defunct telephone code for Hackney. They released their new EP, Change Nothing, last week – the electro-pop record is experimental and has a futuristic sound.

English singer-songwriter Ruti won The Voice in 2018. The neo-soul singer released her latest single, Closer To You, at the end of July, which is her first release having left behind her label and management.

Singer-songwriter Chaz is from Cambridge and is now based in Leeds. She combines jazz, soul, hip-hop and electronic music to create her sound. She released her debut single, Don’t Text Me, at the start of May.
