Discover great artists this week
This week we think you should be getting to know (if you don’t already) Jake Isaac, dodie, Maya Delilah, Sfven and Jamie Webster. Find out more about these great artists and listen to their music below.
Rising star, Jake Isaac, began playing drums when he was three, learning to play piano, bass and guitar after that. He’s produced and played all instruments on his four EPs and debut album, Our Lives. You can catch him on tour in 2021.
You might have already heard of dodie, she headlined and sold-out London’s Roundhouse and scored two top-ten EPs, all before she released her debut album, Build A Problem. The album is set for release in March and she’ll be heading out on a UK tour in support of the album. If you haven’t heard of her yet we’re sure you will soon.
Sweet and soulful singer and songwriter, Maya Delilah, hails from London. She mixes R&B, soul and pop to create her unique sound. She dropped her latest track, Moonflower, in September
Sfven’s electric-pop sound is influenced by the likes of Flume, Bon Iver and Clairo. He’s gained support from Jack Saunders and Huw Stephens. He released his latest EP, The Honey, in September and it’s full of catchy beats and sweet tunes.
Liverpudlian artist, Jamie Webster, topped the first ever Official Folk Albums Chart with his debut album, We Get By. He plays two homecoming shows at Liverpool’s Eventim Olympia in 2021 – tickets go on sale Friday at 10am.
